What are the priorities of PR professionals and marketers in 2023?

The results of this study show that in 2023, marketers plan to focus on developing digital channels (67% of respondents), brand awareness (58%) and finding new activation platforms (38%). Communicators, in their turn, consider improving their reputation (55%), developing internal communications (52%) and strengthening their presence in the information arena (47%) to be their top priorities.
It is worth noting that the main challenges for 2022 are working with no or limited budget (63%), complex project planning (62%), and high levels of exhaustion and fatigue (57%).
Currently, 43% of the surveyed companies hire agencies that provide PR/marketing services, compared to 61% in early 2022.
Also, according to the survey, in 2023, PR and marketers will face many challenges, including the inability to predict and plan, oversaturation of the information space, entering new markets, working in unoccupied territories, team motivation, performance measurement, etc.
